Daymark Living Donation

This month, the Greater Literacy Foundation, a nonprofit affiliated with Paper Leaves, had the pleasure of donating over 200 books to Daymark Living!

Daymark Living, a residential community of about 130 residents located in Waxahachie, Texas, is dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live happy, healthy, and independent lives. The residents are always encouraged to broaden their horizons, whether through education or fun. However, they currently have no books or library set up. This is why Paper Leaves was thrilled to partner with the Greater Literacy Foundation to donate over 200 new books. This donation will not only help start their library but also open up new worlds and opportunities for the residents. We were able to provide book sets, chapter books, novels, picture books, educational books, and Bibles, all of which will enrich their lives and foster a love for reading!

This donation was made possible by the unwavering support of our community. The Greater Literacy Foundation, a nonprofit affiliated with Paper Leaves Bookstore, is at the heart of this support. Committed to providing a hospitable and nurturing environment, the foundation encourages the growth of literature through children’s readings, book donations, and community outreach. Their dedication to engaging with diverse people and organizations, particularly in Ellis County, Texas, is what makes our community experiences meaningful and promotes Christ-centered literature and relationships throughout our local area.

The success of the Greater Literacy Foundation and our ability to continue supporting communities like Daymark Living depends on your ongoing generosity.
